IGNOU MED Project
Master of Education aka M.Ed. programme by IGNOU designed and developed jointly by the Distance Education Council (DEC) and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is a 2 year programme.
The objective is to a global and a national vision for education in the modern concept. Being a professional programme, it focuses on comprehensive and integrated professional development of teachers and other personnel engaged in education. MED by IGNOU program comprises 17 courses (dissertation being equal to two courses). Admission to the M.Ed. programme is made through entrance test conducted at all India level.
The M.Ed. Program of IGNOU is recognized by the NCTE vide their latter and is offered in NCTE recognized teacher education institutions in the country
